This beach maternity session was held on a gorgeous summer evening on Lea Island, a private barrier island just south of Topsail Island, NC.  Lea Island is just a short boat ride from the Hampstead NC mainland.  The evening of this session was majestic as there were the most beautiful clouds which made the maternity images more dramatic.  This beautiful couple is expecting their first child, a little boy in about 6 weeks’ time.  We got some beautiful couple images and images of the stunning expectant mom by herself.  During their session, we went to a few different locations on the island.  We started off on some of the beautiful dunes with the spectacular sky as the backdrop.  We then moved to the ocean and there were tide pools which created a stunning reflection in the water–the evening could not have been better for this session.  As the sun started to set behind the dunes, we shot some silhouettes we were stunning, exposing the sweetest baby bump.  There is no more beautiful beach location for a maternity session than Lea Island.  Not only is it a gorgeous island with pristine dunes, it is also very private, and many times there will be very few people if any people on the island, especially during the week.  If you are thinking about a beach maternity session, please contact me for options.  Not only do I do maternity sessions on Lea Island, but I also do maternity sessions on Topsail Island, Surf City, and many locations in Wilmington, NC.  Check out some of my other maternity images including studio images – https://sweetcphotography.net/gallery/maternity/
