Who doesn’t love pictures of a cake smash session!  How time flies–it seems like only a short few months ago, we were doing this handsome little man’s newborn session and now it’s time for his first birthday cake smash session! Having done all of his milestone sessions and Christmas portraits, it was so fun to see all the changes every few months. From a little newborn to a sweet and happy 6 month old and now a toddler walking around and exploring his little world!  Here we are now capturing his first birthday! This little man loved to play with the pom moms and had fun checking out the set. When it came to the cake, having not had any before, he wasn’t quite sure what to do with it. Mom and dad helped him, but he didn’t seem too thrilled about the cake and was much more interested in walking around and playing with pom poms and the Number 1. He did manage to get full of cake, and we did however get some yummy cake pictures. Documenting milestones with professional photos throughout the year is a great investment and these memories will last a lifetime.
