I recently did a first birthday photo session in Hampstead NC–in my home studio. Do you have a child turning one year old soon? Capturing that first birthday celebration will be a memory you and your child will treasure forever. This session was a pirate theme and we went all out with all the pirate booty. We had swords, pirate flags, treasure chests, anchors, ship wheels and even Albert the parrot. Did you know that it is believed that pirates were stolen property just like the treasure and other booty they swiped. This little guy enjoyed playing with his sword and loved interacting with the parrot, playing with the shells and other sea creatures. Instead of doing a cake smash, mom decided she rather do a fruit smash session. We had a plate stacked with watermelon, strawberries, blueberries and blackberries. This little birthday boy really enjoyed this treat and was even double fisting the fruit at one point! It was so funny to watch this little guy devour the fruit, and all the various expressions we captured will certainly be treasured forever. If you are interested in a birthday photo session, please feel free to contact me to discuss what you would like to do. I have many beautiful sets for both boys and girls which include banners, balloons, pompoms. Of course we also do the cake smash after we get some cute images of the birthday girl or boy in a special outfit or some prefer no outfit at all. Sweet C Photography can also do a fantasy-themed session such as a unicorn cake smash with a rocking unicorn, or a mermaid-themed session. For little boys we have sets for aspiring surfers, fishermen and pirates. For the aspiring actor, actress or dancer, we even have Greatest Showman set. If you give me some notice, I can usually do almost any type of fantasy birthday theme you and your little would like.
